Unwind Designs is a woman-owned Des Moines small business founded by Aileen Weber, a former After-School Supervisor and 21st Century Program Coordinator with years of experience creating fun, engaging activities for kids and groups.

Standard Two Hour
Birthday Party Itinerary
For a standard two hour party, going with the Ultimate Party Package, this is how Unwind Designs structure a party. Let's assume the party is from 11am to 1pm:
10:45 - Party host arrives, sets up, and prepares for the guests.
11:00 - 11:15 Guests arrive, meet and greet, and select their diamond painting kit.
11:15 - 12:30 Diamond paint and socialize.
12:30 - 12:45 Break for cake, presents, and ice cream.
12:45 - 1:00 Wrap-up, thank you, and distribution of take-home kits and swag bags.

Picture This:
You booked a two hour private event with us. You arrive 15min early to Mainframe Studios, Suite 267 and everything is already set up for you and your guests. You talk with one of our expert diamond painting instructors about any last second details and get comfortable. When your guests arrive to our fun, clean and inviting space, each attendee picks out their diamond painting kit. They can chose from over 20+ Designs like our diamond painting sunglasses, keychains and pictures or design their own with our Patent Pending DIY Diamond Painting Kit.
Over the next hour and a half you and your guests spend quality time laughing and chatting as you make your dazzling diamond paintings. It's a great chance to hang out with your guests and get creative!
Toward the end of the private event, is a great time for cake, cookies, ice cream, awards, announcements or presents.
As the two hour party wraps up, we'll thank everyone for coming and gDiamond Painting Swag Bag. You'll head home with a big smile, a cool artwork, and awesome memories of a fun day with your friends.

What's the Max Number of Guests I can have?
We recommend 20-25 guests!
What age range is this good for?
We have ran programs for those 6 and older. Those younger ones will definitely need some addtional adult supervision and support!
What types of events is diamond painting good for?
Diamond Painting is a fun activity for all ages. We have seen it popular with birthday parties, girls nights, club/troupe activities, corporate events, small family gatherings.
Want to bring food or drinks?
We don't provide any food or drinks. That's not our specialty. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. We have a small fridge you can store your cold items in. We can provide plates, cups and cutlery with advanced notice.
How many items can I diamond paint?
Our Diamond Painting products typically take an hour or so to complete or a new or beginning diamond painter. If you complete one before the end of the party, no problem. Our diamond painting host will help you pick out another diamond painting kit. If you don't finish your diamond painting kit by the end of the party, we'll make sure you have supplies to take home and finish it!
